Dear Ann-Christine,
this sand-sculpture is VERY very well done. Quite a difference from what we use to build on the beach 😉 And how clever, this art will go again like the Buddhist sand mandalas.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing this. I am always amazed at how artists can work in sand. I would be heartbroken to do something lovely only to have it disintrigrate within a few hours or days.
What a wonderful piece of work ! Thought elephants were depicted but they may be more like bisons ? East Coast of India ? We see competitions for such work here in Australia . . . . but this one is very, very special . . .
Our UK Government continually builds its policies on sandy foundations.

Thank you! And yes, like the mandalas…it will be swept away in the storms of life. Very timely with the ark.
Oh wow, this is amazing! Beautiful, and I love the ark and animals!!
Thank you, Lisa – well crafted it was.
Great capture of marvelous sand art!
Thank you, Rebecka.
I’m glad to read that it’s not simply sand that will be gone quickly. As for the sculpture itself, words fail me. It’s astonishing.
♥
This certainly looks so amazing 🙂
I admire the artists – and their art.
This is beautiful and I love the angle you photographed it from.
Thank you, Olu – I love these exhibitions.

I always think so of sand manadalas. This sculpture will last for months though. They mix it with harder material.
WOW. What a cool structure. Sand Artists sure can do amazing things. 😀 😀
Yes, astonishing art form as well.
That’s amazing! Thanks so much for sharing it with us 🙂
You are welcome!
Wow, what a feat!
Yes, marvellous artists!
Yay!
You have to wonder whether we need to build another ark with all this weird weather.
We do. But not even that will save us in the end.
Simply amazing 🙂
Thank you, I agree. Skilled artists!
Astonishing! ~and to think it’s just temporary.
Yes, thank you – that is a piece of art that will not last long but in our memories.

Skilled craftsmen indeed. This is in Denmark.
This is utterly astonishing, A-C.
I thought so too – thank you!
Tremendous! I’ve always fund it hard enough to build a normal sand castle, let alone something like this
Yes, they are skilled, the sand artists.
