Perfect, A-C. A golden cocoon. Also that plant looks very like the Lady’s Bedstraw that grows on our Windmill Hill in early summer. I think it must be a Swedish cousin.
You are right, Tish, it is called Lady’s Bedstraw in English – in Swedish ”Gulmåra”. The scent is lovely according to me, but many people don’t like it very much.
Even though we have not reached the depths of winter, it is still a welcome sight to see evidence of summery warmth. Thanks, Ann-Christine!
exquisite beauty of nature captured so finely.Happy New Year Dear friend.
Thank you so much, dear Anjum. I wish you too a Better New Year!
It will be back….. but nice to have gentle reminder 😘

Just gorgeous as usual!!
😀
Such a lovely photograph, I love the soft focus background.
Thank you, Jude – so glad you love it. I remember and feel close to the warm summer night when I see it. ♥

I love the scent too. It grows in big drifts below our windmill.
Mmm – so summery and sunny! Very frequent in my garden too.
Ooh, now there’s a thought. I wonder if I can encourage it into my garden.
I am sure you can.
Very nice and warm colors, lovely to look at in these grey and cold winter days.
That was my intention – good! I need it myself so I guess others will too.
Glorious colour! I know it can’t come soon enough for you, hon 🙂 🙂
No – but there’s another 3-4 months to go. I’ll enjoy your summery blog on the way!
Lovely. Makes me long for summer.
Me too – some light in the darkness.
Love this, beautiful!
Thank you
Very nice!
