As I was walking that ribbon of highway, I saw above me that endless skyway: I saw below me that golden valley: This land was made for you and me. I’ve roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps, To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts; And all around me a voice was sounding: This land was made for you and me.
Of course Cee’s challenge must be applied on my own country and land – Sweden.
This is a painting in itself Ann-Christine!
A lovely comment, Mary!
Beautiful landscapes for this week’s theme. Thanks Leya. 🙂
Beautiful, beautiful landscapes. 🙂
😀 Longing for spring…How are you in the heat? I heard it was a bit too much?
It has been but it is cooler now.
Good. It seems Australia has had a hard time of it. it’s very mild up here, no winter at all. We had a day or two, but now we are almost waiting for spring…The birds are singing in the morning.
Perhaps there will be a late last minute winter!
There usually is. I’m expecting it from the middle of February. It always arrives when my husband has left for an adventure somewhere, so I have to do away with the snow on my own. Digging out the car in the early mornings and digging away to get it in in the afternoons …Now he is leaving for Mexico in February, so…well…I can see it coming!
It’s always the way!
It’s just wonderful and your photos make me yearn for spring!
Don’t we?
YES !
Every highway…… good blog…
Lovely photos. I would love to look at your land(country)site forever
What a lovely comment – thank you so much! Have a great weekend in your wonderful country!
Thanks, enjoy your weekend too. We have a heat wave at the moment. They expect a bit of rain this Sunday. We’ll see how it goes
