Buildings can be serene and beautiful too – not only functional. I have chosen the glass building covering an old cathedral in Norway, and a tree building for birdwatching in Sweden. Both are new, but somehow naturally fit into their environment.

Wow, the cathedral is a piece of art…amazing idea to ”melt” past together with present and future. And looks really majestic, yet light. Beautiful!
I think they are incredibly artistic, the Norwegians here.
Great entry as always … from you! Not really much into churches – but I’m truly amazed by , the Hammer Cathedral – never heard about. What a beautiful combination of modern architecture and the old heritage.

The glass cover over the Cathedral would be a lovely solution for our Cathedral ruins.
