Thank you! I must say I am a bit surprised you would say you love B&W! I thought painters mostly were in love with colour? Svara
Oh I do love color, but there is something so dramatic and elegant with b&w (charcoal and graphite mediums are awesome mediums for capturing b&w).
hello everyone 🙂 can anyone help me to get followers? just for school project. please help me 🙂 Svara
Thank you, Janet – those gulls can really be a pest when they get too many…but beautiful they are. Glad you liked the B&W version. Svara

I agree, Mary. I have come to like it more and more. And for portraits it is perfect.
Black and white really highlights this bird from its surroundings. Great shot!
Glad you like it! Easier when they don’t fly…

That;s a lovely photo Leya.
Thank you, Gavin! It worked out quite well in B&W even if I am all for colours.
Colour is great, but sometimes B&W can accentuate a subject in a way colour would just distract you.
True. Portraits for example – I love them in B&W for the details.
Yes, I agree.
Lovely image and what a cute little face he has. 🙂
Thank you – I quite like him too!
Striking in monochrome, A C!,
Thanks, Sue! I think it turned out better than I thought at least.
