This week Ben Huberman wants us to embrace chaos…so let us embrace the creatively positive side of it. Here is an installation at Louisiana, Denmark, by Yayoi Kusama – the ” Polka Dot Lady ”.

Very interesting photo.
Wow! Fascinating. Makes me a little dizzy!
She (her work) has that effect on many of us I think…
Certainly made me feel chaotic! 🙂

Haha, me too!

I knew Kusama when she lived in New York City back n the ’60’s. We once stayed at her loft for a couple of days. The rent was to allow her to paint our bodies with polkadots. I have always found it weird that her art is taken seriously. I guess I just don’t get it.
Interesting experience. I find it difficult with many artists and their work. With some I often think ”I could have done this myself”…But, I guess to be the bold and brave first one to exhibit…gives you the chance to become famous.
I think it is mostly luck not tallent that makes an artist famous.
Being in the right place the right time…
Wow, count on mirrors to confuse the eyes and add to the chaos! This is a wonderful installation. 😀
She is great. I would love to see more of her!

This is THE best picture for the chaos challenge, Ann-Christine. Simply perfect!
Yay, thanks!
Åh, vilken underbart glad och positiv bild och installation. Den fick mig att tänka på Hattifnattarna i Mumintrollet fast lite gladare, lite färgrannare och lite roligare.
Haha – det var träffande med hattifnattarna

🙂 Oh, Gosh, I love Yayoi Kusama’s art!
Great picture, dear Leya! 🙂
Glad you like her too!
Love this woman’s artworks; there’s something about being surrounded by thousands of polka dots!
There is!
Love it! I’m going to link to it so my readers can enjoy it too.
You are free to do so!
Great take on, as always! 🙂
Why thank you so much, Amy!
How funny! impressive shot and multiples through the mirrors!
Thank you – she is really rather funny!
Looks like real chaos. Very interesting how they did it. I love it.
Mmm. Me too!
Mirrors! Very effective for creating chaos!
Yes!
😀
Wow! Now that really creates chaos in the mind. I think if I were to walk in there I might fall down.
Strange feeling…yes. Dizziness and chaos – if possible I certainly would have fallen down. But it is all mirrors!
I think that is the most confusing thing.
It is.
