Standing stones and circles make lovely atmospheric shots .
I love both of these….the old stones look beautiful in the haze of early morning, and your long shadow reaching out to your lovely dog….shadows past and present 🙂

Poppy, you make me happy now – lovely comment!
Great contrasts.
The contrasts are there, yes. Sometimes the shadows seem more important than the things making them…
So true!

How ancient would those gravestones be, Ann-Christine ?
They are from either the Bronze Age or the Iron Age – about 500 BC. Rather awesome. They stand in a meadow about 2 kilometres from my home.
CRIKEY !!! Imagine having ancient history right nearby …
Well, there are several graves there and they are rather impressive.
Great take on! You never run out of ideas 🙂
He, he, well – all of us bloggers have a lot of ideas! Otherwise it wouldn’t be possible to go on blogging. Thank you for a lovely comment!
